"I thought you're gonna say your, uh, potion." Sam said, her eyes following your movement swiftly.
"Well, that too..-
Ugh, you're right; that too."
"What is actually going on inside that vexatious rug's head?!
My waist hurts and he just stole away my ..my first kiss!!"
As you flounce around the room all mad, you repeatedly wipe your lips with your palm, disgusted.
..Draco Malfoy. He needs a good lecture. And a hi-5 in the face with a chair. You don't care what his parents are gonna say if he runs to them crying, you just want to leave a lasting red mark on his cheek at this very moment. All this drama is getting really nonsensical!
But you have to admit, you're a bit confused as to why you're so raged like this after being kissed by him whereas you already had your forehead pecked by him as well before and you weren't as mad as now, knowing both are fake all the same.

Ugh, you're right; that too."
"That's the part of the acting you're both playing or what? Like, I'm there on the spot from the start, and Draco didn't know that I know about this, so, you know."
"..Sam. He knows about this. He heard us the entire time."
"..oh, yeah."
"..Sam. He knows about this. He heard us the entire time."
"..oh, yeah."
"The potion thing obviously was not. As for that kiss.. perhaps yes; he knew those girls were there, and he knew it's certainly not something pleasurable to see, a boyfriend hexing his own girlfriend.
..at least he's smart enough to know that."
..at least he's smart enough to know that."
"Whoa."
"What 'whoa'? It's 'ew'!!"
You listened to the commotion outside your room. Those stubborn girls are still there.
"The love potion." Sam reminded.
You hustled a bit after calming your mind and finally sat down.
The abrasive boy must have placed a suspicion on you from the start, that's why he kept resisting to take the potion even without capable of giving any proper reason to you. You aren't aware of what actually caused him to, but now's not the time to think about that - you need to think of a way to retrieve it back from him before he could really give it to Snape or do anything else even more fatal to or with it.
"I guess at least he didn't bring it outside the house. Otherwise I'd be dead."
"What are you gonna do now?" Sam asked after reassuring the door is locked, perhaps afraid of those girls barging in as well.
"Pray those girls are off quick and get the potion."
"Draco's probably in his room now."
"So?"
"Don't tell me you forgot about the prefects?
It's almost time for them to patrol around the houses. There won't be enough time for you to retrieve the potion back from him, let alone tracking down where his room is in the boy's dorm; saves you know where it's actually located."
You criss-crossed your legs on the bed and thought for a while, your eyes constantly looking back to the clock.
"Does it really have to be you who give it to him?" Sam asked.
You blinked your eyes awkwardly. "Well, yes."
Then as the ticking sound of the clock gets you a bit uncomfortable, you bit your upper lip.
"Got no choice with me, I suppose."
You drank the last cup of strong caffeine Sam had made you.
She sure has a talent in brewing delicious beverages that not only able of keeping your eyes wide open for few hours but also entertain you at the same time.
"This one's got milk in it. Much more common and better than the one with rotten pomegranate," You uttered after you licked your moist lips. This made you remember about Draco.
...
Agh, you quickly shrugged it off and rubbed your lips again. No use fussing over it now. You hate him, you do not like him at all, you restated to yourself hardly, unsure why you need to.
The clock now shows 2 A.M. The exact same time as that previous night where you met him in the common room.
"Sam?" You whispered to your beautiful friend that you realized had been quite silent for these few minutes. But as you try to move your head to look at her in a different angle that shows her face, you hear a snore. You stopped moving and saw the cup in her hands is still full. Seems like she didn't drink the coffee at all, and now here she is, already in her serenity.
"...guess I'm all alone now." You let out a despondent sigh but quickly got back to excitement. "Ninja time!"
You suited yourself firm with your wand in your robe and pulled on the disillusionment charm you and Sam had prepared. Trying your best not to injure your finger again with the door, you vigilantly open it as you look around cautiously. The mirror across the room shows nothing visible of yourself. Nice working charm.
Then you narrowed your eyes down to the beds. Daphne is sleeping. Pansy as well, of course with her signature loud snore. You don't have any idea where Tracey went. But once you confirmed that everything else is safe, you moved out of the room to go to Draco's.
Yup. There's nothing else you could do but to sneak out at this time of night when you suppose he already fell to his slumber and get the potion back from him quietly.
"Lumos," you called the light on your wand in the middle of the dark corridor, your movement imitates that of James Bond's. Can't help but to also hum it's incongruous theme song as well. You wonder how this would look like, seeing a floating wand and a faint orb of light walking down the hall by itself. Or is it invisible too?
There's no one in the common room, and it's so quiet the sound of the harsh wind slamming to the windows nearly made you jump out of fear. You looked around. The pictures hanging on the wall are shaking a bit because of the wind. You then tightened the window pane before you ventured down to the boy's dorm.
A maple wood door with the most elegant doorknob ever.
That's what you got from Pansy when you and Sam tricked her into telling the room where Draco sleeps in. You eyed to the left, seeing a door with the exact same description as Pansy had told you. The doorknob, compared to the others, is really shiny and glistering. This must be it.
But you hitched in pain as you clumsily stumbled upon a dark night stand near the door when you're walking.
"Go to hell," You hissed to the night stand as you saw some of the people in paintings on the wall are moving.
"Oh-"
The tapestries here are living beings too, almost forgot about that. You covered your mouth with your hand, afraid you'll wake them up, then Nox'd your wand before you casted Alohomora on the door.
The inside is rather dark for your eyes to see clearly. It hesitates you, as you feel a somewhat strange aura coming off from the room. But you need to get the potion, else your effort of drinking thirteen cups of different-flavored coffees and risking yourself getting caught by either the prefects or ghosts will be pointless. You swallowed your wheeze, then entered the room.
There are several beds, each neatly lined on the sides of the cold room. The first one you came across has Gregory Goyle on it. You gulped again and found fatter Crabbe on the next bed, saliva's trickling down his cheek and his hand clutches tight a what seemed to be a letter. 'My princess, no, don't behead me,' You heard him murmur then snores aloud. Another has someone you don't know, same with the one after it.
Then that leaves the fifth bed ..the last bed that requires you to walk inside even further to reach it.
After moments of contemplating with this over again, you decided to just end this up quick and approach your target, ignoring some of the room's inhabitants that began to make weird sounds in their sleep.
But as you get closer to the lavish bed, you realized there's no one on it.
It's empty. There's no sight of his robe nearby. And his lethal wand is nowhere to be seen either.
..he left this room. Good timing.
"Love potion..love potion.."
You skimmed your eyes meticulously to the black dresser near the bed which you assume must be the place where Draco kept his belongings. There are various transparent bottles in variant sizes placed on it, and there's this one that looks very much similar to your potion. You tried to look for any label from it to make sure you're not picking the wrong one,
but your hand barely even touch the bottleneck when you hear a sound.
..no. Not a sound.
More like a voice. Intruder alert.
It's faint, and its coming from outside the room, but as fast as it sends you great trembles down your spine, it's getting louder and clearer.
Whoever it was, they're going this way, to this room at this very second.
That's it; you're good as dead. You pulled your hair down in horror and panic. Now what to do?
Seeing as they could enter the room at any second now, you hastily grasped the bottle off the dresser, bent yourself down and spurn your body to one side of the other beds as quick as you can. Oh wait, you still had the charm on, so why the jeopardy?
"Thanks, I'll pay you for this."
The door then swung open, clearly revealing a familiar, very familiar British-accent voice behind it. "How's 20 Galleons sound to you?"
"You need not to pay me, Draco."
Then another one. You peeked up from the bed a little to see who it is, but Draco's body's blocking your sight.
"..if you say so then. You can go back to your room now."
"But wait, I.."
"What is it?"
And.. well you're uncertain about what just happened between them two, but did they just..kissed?
Your jaw dropped in incredulity as you watch their lips fall into a deep lock, until Draco broke it rather curtly. The boy just can't behave well to girls.
"Draco..?"
"I never approve you of kissing me."
"..I understand. I'm sorry,"
The girl gave a disconcerting bye to Draco, much to her chagrin then leaves; now leaving only you and him awake in the room. You lowered your body back to your hiding place in a bit of tremble.
As Draco walks pass you, holding a ..well you don't know what it is, too dark for your eyes to see; you kind of hold your breath, still afraid he'd sense your presence in some way. He sat down on the edge of his bed smoothly, facing your direction.
You looked at him as you wondered who that girl earlier was, wandering out with him at this time of day. He seems to be in deep thought as he looks to the thing in his hand. His stern and gelid expression somehow makes you feel uneasy, but as you stare at his stone-gray eyes, you feel your heartbeat gets a bit faster for no known reason. These last few days, you've been feeling so weird when you're around him.
..is it because..
..but wait, this isn't the time for you to lose your mind to your wonder! You need to get out of here quick before he spots your presence. Lucky you, he left the door open, so you have as any good chance to retreat now.
You slowly lift your body up the ground, the bottle stays precariously in your grip, and as you walk away, Draco takes off his cloak and begins to lay himself on the bed. God, how it relieves you. Now you've darted out of the room and-

...damn night stand. You hit it again.
And unfortunately you succeeded in waking up the tapestries this time.
"Hey, young lady, do you even know what time it is?!"
One of them got mad and swings his staff around inside the frame. You observed your appearance in a quick flash and looked back to the wall. How come he could see you in this nearly flawless disguise?!
"Such a fine and smart-looking girl to be wandering around in the boy's dorm, too," A picture of an old woman beside him talks as she yawns. "Dating, I assume? But you should've been more considerate in not waking us up."
You apologized to both pictures in a bit fuss, but the other pictures on the wall began waking up as well, much to your bad luck.
You then hear sudden noises coming from the room you just got out from. You cringe; must be Draco there.
Either he's just disturbed by the commotion you just caused or he noticed one of his potions is missing.
"Ugh, I'm so sorry! Silencio!"
You immediately casted the silencing spell to the talking tapestries to prevent them from getting any louder, and quickly scampered back to the girl's dorm, overwhelmed by guilt and fright.
